Black History is often celebrated, but little to nothing is said about Black Futures.
Barclays runs a 12-week training program called the Black Founder Accelerator scheme, mentoring black entrepreneurs. We wanted to throw a spotlight onto these remarkable business people to inspire a new generation of black founders.
We partnered with a black-owned production company, Doc Hearts, to tell the stories of four founders in a short film.
The film was supported and amplified by social media activity across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. We specifically targeted black business owners and their allies who work in diversity, equality and inclusion spaces.
